Comfortably 4 to 8 weeks. Beyond that the roots grow out and the style should be removed or retouched to keep your hair healthy.
Can I use heat on synthetic locs?
Only hot water dipping to seal the ends, and only where the fibre allows it. Avoid blow dryers, flat irons and curling tongs on synthetic fibre.
