Washing and drying
Use a diluted sulphate-free shampoo, avoid vigorous rubbing at the joins, and rinse fully. Press out water with a towel and air dry completely before tying the hair up.
Heat and products
Moderate heat is fine occasionally; daily flat ironing is not. Use light leave-in products only — heavy butters build up inside locs and dull the hair.
Night care and storage
Satin scarf or bonnet every night. When you take the extensions down, wash them, dry them fully and store them in a breathable bag so they are ready for reuse.
